It’s arguable that bloggers have replaced the DJ as the go-to method of establishing a fan base due to the instant access certain blogs can provide.
Absolutely one of the best observations I have seen in quite some time as to how new artists should enter the industry...some just aren't ready to follow up on a great play right out of the gate!
