
DJ JT ‘Let’s Go’ Ft. Ne-Yo (remix) (Columbia Records)
Universal Records artist and Singapore’s #1 remixmaster, DJ JT keeps bringing new dimensions to House Music and this time he brought along the club favorite “Let’s Go” by Ne-Yo. The progressive house remix dropped on the Columbia Records label in September and to date the promo snippet for the song has over 500,000 plays on SoundCloud.
Born in Singapore with a passion for all genres of music, The Remix Master especially gravitates toward electronic music. “My appetite for music is endless. I love it all – trance, electro, dubstep, techno. Anything with a nasty bass line, and I’m there” says JT. His musical journey led him to composing his own beats, dance and trance tracks.
In 2012 DJ JT launched a website to help bring electronic music from the underground scene to more mainstream audiences. This along with the announcement that the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences would recognize electronic music has vaulted DJ JT into the forefront of his genre.
In March 2012 DJ JT made history by being the first artist to land 3 hits on the top 40 list. His remix of remix “songs “Breathe” by Skrillrex, “If I Die Young” by The Band Perry, and “Part of Me” by Katy Perry, became chart topping hits as the No. 1 Best remix for three consecutive weeks after its release. This feat made DJ JT the first and only Singaporean DJ to break through the international music scene working at par with other renowned Swedish and Dutch powerhouse DJs.
“ In August 2012 he released a single entitled “Moments” which sold more than 3,000 copies in the first 3 days, 10 days later he released another single “Pursuits” which became a club anthem for the month. In September 2012, DJ JT submitted his version of Ne-Yo’s hit single “Let’s Go”. Finally on Oct 23rd 2012 the single was released on Columbia Records and hit an amazing 402,000 plays in 7 days of the preview. Also receiving many 5 stars reviews on the track on iTunes worldwide. October 2012. DJ JT released a single “Brighter” released on Universal Records with a Singaporean Nicole Chen featuring Korean artist MJRed.
