Chicago rapper Blanco Caine released a major new single from his upcoming “White America” project which drops May 28th. ”Spend-A-Holic” is one of those timeless joints that will make you break your neck, this track is sick!!! Lyrically, Blanco tells the story of those ghetto fabulous people whose money burns a hole in their pocket but the choices they make are totally out of line. Buying gear instead of paying your bills, doing things you KNOW you can’t afford just to keep up appearances. I think the outdated term from my area is “flossing” but could be better termed “trickin’.” Enjoy!!!

“White America” is a highly anticipated release, touted as the Hip Hop response to the “White Privilege” question discussed heavily by major media following the Obama re-election.

When my good friend Jerry Doby asked me to interview Blanco Caine, I was very honored. Because I knew this artist had to be special and had a powerful movement. I jumped at the chance to have him on the show. Then I was also told I would be breaking his new single “Spend-A-Holic”. That had me saying aww shit because that is a blessing and honor at the same time to be trusted with a project that important. Now I was very taken in by the name of his mixtape “White America“. I knew it was going to be the start of a strong movement. The words alone are powerful. Once I had the opportunity to speak with him and hear his music, I knew this project was going to be epic. Now y’all know how my sexy ass gives it up. I aint about to blog about the interview. You need to stop being lazy and listen to the interview for yourself. CHICAGO’S BLANCO CAINE STIRS THE POT WITH ‘WHITE AMERICA’ PROJECT Chicago Hip Hop artist Blanco Caine intends to stir the pot and inform the Hip Hop masses about some still smoldering issues dealing with “White America.” Blanco’s highly anticipated release, “White America,” hosted by DJ Supastar J Kwik and DJ Vic Lloyd, comes on the heels of Fox network journalist Bill O’Reilly’s rants regarding the loss of “White Privilege.”
According to his interview with The Hype Magazine, Blanco Caine states that his musical influences include “Everything they didn’t teach or prepare me for in school is an inspiration…basically “White America.” He continues, “Controversy may ruffle a few feathers with this next release, but hey, I’m not here to make friends — just great music.”

Snoop Lion appeared on VH1’s Big Morning Buzz Live with Carrie Keagan this week to discuss his hopes that gay rappers will soon be welcomed into the world of hip hop. He said “It’s like this rap game was created off of a different stigma and we were brainwashed not to accept certain things but as we get older and we learn, we appreciate life, so I feel like in the near future it could happen it’s just not right now. [...] In the near future it will happen because there’s so much unification going on with music and life in general.” He went on to say, “People are people no matter what their preference is. And that’s what we have to understand as humans – that we can’t dictate our lives off what somebody else loves or doesn’t love. You have to live your life for who you are and you have to respect other peoples’ decisions and give them their space.”

Track 7 - Trinidad James – Females Welcomed — this Dubstep laced joint actually brings my respect level for this artist’s abilities up quite a few notches
Track 2 - - The One Eye Kitten – Wale ft. Travis Porter — DMV standout and MMG artist Wale holds the high standard he has set thus far and Travis Porter is well…Travis Porter, solid, interesting, very cool.

Philly’s Hottest Rap Group, ICH Reveals Artwork for New Project…’R.O.M.E.’ @Jimmydasaint1

Philadelphia is rapidly becoming a hot bed for music. From the city of brotherly love comes the hottest rap group in Philly, Inner City Hustlers. The group consists of 8 members (Young Savage, Bossman, Scorp Da Boy, HH Spady, Pusha Feek, K.Walker, Shorty Raw, and Sport Sinner), and they are led by hip-hop entrepreneur, Jimmy DaSaint, ICH Gang as they are known has been making noise in the Philadelphia region for the last three years with their four street releases.
Having appeared on major blogs such as Vibe.com and XXL.com and performed alongside Hip-Hop’s brightest. ICH Gang is set to release their first major label album “Ride On My Enemies” or R.O.M.E. The first single “She wants to Roll with a Hustler” which features Young Savage, Shorty Raw, and Cosmo from Team Retro – has gained national attention since its release, with the official video soon to follow.
