Chicago rapper Blanco Caine released a major new single from his upcoming “White America” project which drops May 28th. ”Spend-A-Holic” is one of those timeless joints that will make you break your neck, this track is sick!!! Lyrically, Blanco tells the story of those ghetto fabulous people whose money burns a hole in their pocket but the choices they make are totally out of line. Buying gear instead of paying your bills, doing things you KNOW you can’t afford just to keep up appearances. I think the outdated term from my area is “flossing” but could be better termed “trickin’.” Enjoy!!!
Blanco’s ”White America,” has also spawned a unique clothing line by #UshClothing, a prominent urban clothing line with styling and product credits on networks such as VH1. This themed clothing line has drawn the attention of street wear aficionados AND the Hip Hop community at large. Check the “White America” clothing line via his online store. It’s DOPE!
Blanco has been professionally recording for 10 years with musical influences including UGK, Scarface, Eightball & MJG, and Too Short. In 2010 he released SOLD OUT: The Mixtape Hosted By Gunplay & Triple C (Maybach Music Group). Recently, he has toured with LEP Bogus Boys (Interscope) and is gearing up to release (2) two new mixtapes and (5) five new videos, including a video for the new single “Front My Move” (Remix) Feat. MCTreeG & Mikkey (Featured On http://www.FakeShoreDrive.com, http://www.AllHipHop.com , WorldStarHipHop.com & SwurvRadio.com).
In the next 5 Years Blanco Caine would like to have his lead company, Cash Gang Entertainment, to become one of the musical powerhouses in the entertainment industry. Blanco Caine seeks to continue to captivate audiences by releasing music that is embraced by rap fans of all ages and races.

(New York, April 12th) Coalition Fight Music the only music group to sponsor high-profile celebrity athletes in the UFC, Bellator and Europe’s leading promotion UCMMA announced today the band has finalized a lucrative, multi-tiered partnership agreement with media powerhouse The Hype Magazine Media Group (Hype).
News of the deal first broke on social networking site Twitter when CFM CEO and Executive Producer Tony Savo (@statecyde), tweeted: “Its official everybody, CFM has signed with Hype!! #CFM #TeamHype #DreamsComingTrue #BottlesPoppen” and has since been confirmed via the band’s official website.
Terms of the strategic partnership guarantee Hype exclusivity as the official media partner of CFM and include promoting the group on its various print and online platforms that span from Star Force Hip-Hop to Yahoo.
In his statement regarding the new deal with Hype, CFM’s Tony Savo was quoted as saying the following; “Being in the indie music scene, this is one of those breakthrough moments you always dream about. Hype is an industry heavyweight and having them in our corner, further cements our brand and legitimacy in the mainstream. We’re looking forward to a very prosperous relationship in the years to come”
Meanwhile Hype CEO and Editor In Chief Jameelah “Just Jay” Wilkerson had this to say; “Coalition Fight Music“ is a client that every media sponsor or PR firm dreams of…they get it! Hard work, quality product and stone cold professionalism, will dominate and CFM with Tony Savo at the helm, represents those ideals. Hype is excited to work with CFM as they continue to grow their brand now and into the future.”

Pinqy Ring is one of the dopiest MCs I have heard in quite a long time … I would try to put my spin on her and her story but she is so damn unique that in my humble opinion, only SHE can lay it out for you! I will just say that she is one of the newest writers on The Hype Magazine editorial roster but with her lyrical skills, we may not have her for long. Her single “Tickets” with Bo Deal of Waka Flocka‘s Brick Squad Monopoly, is an exposé of those fake rappers claiming to be rich or ‘gangsta’ when it simply isn’t the truth.
Pinqy Ring is a high school teacher as well as a rapper…her students really get the best of both worlds from their teacher. Besides getting the 3 r’s, she can relate to them from a street perspective and as an individual out on her professional grind as well.
“I am me. An emcee. That releases her speech on a beat. No police or his chief can hold Misses Pinq to her knees. Woman, Queen. On her dream. On the scene. Welcome. Please, have a seat ” Pinqy Ring quote from her website!
In one sentence, who are you?
I am Pinqy Ring, the Puerto Rican Chicago rapper, teacher, poet, journalist, student, feminist, lover, learner, college graduate and chocolate milk aficionado. (from her recent interview with The HYPE Magazine)
Hard hitting rhythms, deadly deliver and a natural ability to ride a track like a professional hobo rides a train, gives the listener one heck of a musical experience. This is an example of how Hip Hop should be presented, not that skinny jeans wishy washy stuff we get fed on the radio. Tickets, from her upcoming EP “Herstory” is unique in this day in age and Pinqy Ring delivers like none you have heard in years.
A proud Puerto Rican, Pinqy is determined NOT to be pigeonholed as a Latin Rapper…she wants and by her delivery on Tickets…DESERVES to be taken as a serious representative of Hip Hop…period. Rating 4/5 because nobody’s perfect. Enjoy!

Last month I told you about the “Pass The Crown” program I was able to participate in to help support the men and women in our United States military that are overseas. It was a promotional event set up by Crown Royal to show our appreciation for the troops around the holidays. Every time someone used the phrase “Pass The Crown” on Twitter, Facebook, or YouTube Crown Royal sent a bag of goodies to the U.S. servicemen and women who will not be home for the holidays.
I am ecstatic to report that there were more than 1,400 Crown Royal camouflage bags that were sent to the U.S. military. I was happy to be able to do my part and help out as much as I could to show my support and thanks to the brave men and women who help make this country great. If you are interested in finding out more on this phenomenal program check out the Crown Royal Heroes Project.

I plan to drop a J.O.K.E. about this sudden emergence of disrespect towards God in music soon (yeah, unpopular opinion time), but I was completely turned off to the artwork and the sacrilege in this album cover. I honestly wasn't going to check for it if it wasn't for a few of the features. Thankfully, I went ahead, and Game did a good job for the most part executing what he was trying to do, which is show how most street cats think when it comes to the aspects of church and the Bible...
