Hip-Hop Culture has grown from a small number of people concentrated in the Midwest, East Coast and the South, into a worldwide phenomenon. People from all walks of life can appreciate the impact of Hip-Hop music in their lives. The CRH Tour Edition is an integral part of an initiative, intended to promote the independent movement at its best. There will be eight tour stops per quarter in 2015.
The goal is to “Cut Da Red Tape” and give A&Rs, Independent Labels and DJs the opportunity to seek out new talent. “There are so many barriers that keep artists from getting the proper acknowledgement in the entertainment industry, and we want to bridge the gap.” said the CEO of Maniac Muzik. Our aim is to showcase ten new artists per city through the year.
“This tour will definitely go down in history!” says The Hype Magazine CEO/Publisher Jameelah “Just Jay” Wilkerson. “This is going to be a historical,” She continues, “because we will be able to interview and have a red carpet experience for the Who’s Who in each city we cover, while giving an up an coming artist the opportunity to expand their reach, at the same time.”

The CRH Tour Editions kickoff begins February 27, 2014 in Memphis, Tennessee at Club Perignons.
Adding to the weight of the occasion, The Hype Magazine Meet and Greet VIP Experience, will acknowledge each tour stop’s industry leaders with a red carpet interview opportunity in our branded media section. The Hype Magazine executives will be in attendance at each stop to meet and provide media opportunities for the area with the fastest growing entertainment magazine in the country.
In 2014, The Hype Magazine’s media sponsorship activities have included the Official Tommy Boy Entertainment Showcase during CMJ 2014, artist media support during SXSW in 2013 and 2014; artist media support during the Vans Warped Tour and more. The outlet will support more than 60 events across the United States and Dominican Republic in 2015.
